Showroom apartment in Södermalm, Stockholm
Construction company Glommen & Lindberg commissioned Note Design Studio to create a completely unique interior for individual houses in order to make the most of the space available in the center of Södermalm, the central district of Stockholm, which is still relatively unknown, but at present young designers, entrepreneurs and architects live here. It is also an integral part of the vibrant cityscape, which offers many features and content, such as offices, services and accommodation.
Mono has a more continental than Scandinavian look. Project-specific solutions and a particular style are more important than passing trends and Swedish standard solutions. All functions are made to order - the choice of wood, as well as all that relates to each individual door handle, was selected in accordance with the purpose.
Unique solutions and well-integrated interiors are sustainable in the long run - this is the conviction that defines the company's interiors. Each issue presents unique solutions with links to classic design .
Despite the small areas of apartments, studio wanted to create enough space to invite many friends for long dinners. They did this by creating one bright living room, open plan kitchen and dining room, which is wrapped with high windows on both sides.
Neutral color palette, consisting of delicate light pink, green and grey paint, oak floors and stainless steel, helps to create a soothing atmosphere in all apartments.
